OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 hours per week


Duties Include

  • Prospect and generate leads: Identify and target potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research to expand the customer base.
  • Conduct site assessments: Visit client locations to assess their HVAC needs, evaluate existing systems, and gather pertinent information to develop customized solutions tailored to their requirements.
  • Prepare and present proposals: Utilize gathered data to create detailed proposals outlining recommended HVAC systems, equipment, and services, ensuring alignment with client goals, budgets, and timelines. Present proposals to clients and address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Build and maintain client relationships: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries promptly, and offering ongoing support. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to offer informed advice and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with engineering, installation, and service teams to coordinate project execution, ensure smooth transitions from sales to implementation, and guarantee customer satisfaction throughout the entire process.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitors: Keep abreast of market developments, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to identify potential opportunities and stay ahead in the competitive HVAC sales landscape.
  • Meet sales targets and objectives: Set and strive to achieve sales targets and performance goals outlined by management, tracking progress, and implementing strategies to maximize sales revenue and profitability while maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.
